First Aid at Work Requalification
The First Aid at Work requalification course is a two day package which runs from 09:00 - 17:00 daily. The aim of the course is to refresh, up-date and reassess First Aid at Work (FAW) trained personnel to ensure they remain at the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) approved standard. The course is aimed at employees who already act as a "Designated First Aider" within a place of employment. The course comprises of theory lessons, practical skill development and an assessment which, with succesfull completion, awards the applicant with a FAW certificate that is valid for a furthur three years.
Avis First Aid is a Protrainings approved centre whose main aim is to provide high quality training at a low price. All trainers and assessors are fully qualified by HSE accredited organisations and are annually assessed by an external group. Avis First Aid is instantly advised of any changes being bought into the regulations so we constantly stay at the frontline of change. Applicants must still be indate with their current FAW qualification for the entire duration of the requalification course to remain eligable. Applicants whose FAW has expired, or will expire during the requalification course, will not be eligable and will have to complete a three day First Aid at Work course.
We are happy to take requalification courses for anybody who is in possession of a FAW certificate, whether we completed the initial training or not. Applicants must be in possession of their FAW certificate and present it to the trainer at the start of the course.
